Seeking an application support and maintenance specialist to join our global AMS support team. This role will involve support for ERP applications and functionality with a heavy focus on SAP. The person in this role will report to the AMS Manager with an internal stakeholder relationship with SAP architects and developers.
The AMS team is responsible for supporting end users for our core business applications while working with development teams on break fixes/bugs, configuration changes, and system/job monitoring. The SAP team is responsible for the design, development and functionality of the SAP application. This role will primarily be responsible for performing support during Pacific time zone business hours.
The core objectives of this position are:
Advocate for the end user by providing a delightful and efficient user experience through professional, proactive communication, regular updates, and timely resolution of issues.
A troubleshoot and analyze reported issues to resolution or escalation with root cause analysis.
Proactively highlight and address trending issues or suggest necessary enhancements or configuration changes.
Adequately test solutions to ensure end user adoption and smooth release transition.
Develop and articulate solution options that incorporate user experience, scalability, security and best practices.
Communication with internal team members and stakeholders in other time zones for requirements clarification and progress reporting.
Perform in depth analysis to determine root cause if possible and work with developers on clarification of end user issues.
