Position Overview

Pure Storage is looking for an exceptional candidate to grow our industry's leading Fast File & Object Data Storage business in Asia Pacific through our partner ecosystem. 

As a member of the Emerging Technology Solutions Sales team, the Portworx Account Executive will be responsible for the regional partner go-to-market strategy and business plan to drive growth and broad partner adoption of Portworx business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Portworx sales team and Kubernetes ecosystem to drive Portworx adoption by channel partners..

This individual will also collaborate with the Channel and Field Marketing teams on programs and events designed to promote Cloud native solutions and drive revenue for Pure through partners.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Cloud native ecosystem (RedHat, Suze, etc)
  • Identify right cloud native channel partners.
  • Work with the Channel team to define and execute a partner business growth plan.
  • Work through partners in order to drive new business opportunities through them
  • Work with Channel and Field Marketing to deliver Portworx focused programs and events to existing partners 
  • Engage in demand gen plan and drive these activities with Marketing / channel team
  • Provide updates and metrics based reporting on the plan execution to the senior leadership team
  • Collaborate with Field and Partner Sales teams to qualify, develop, and execute campaigns to generate cloud native opportunities via partners in Asia Pacific
  • Manage relationship between Pure and key Cloud native solutions partners 
  • Work with customer through identified channel partners 
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 10+ years prior experience in the technology industry, working with resellers, managed service providers and/or systems integrators
  • Strong experience in Cloud native ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience in building and executing partner-focused strategic business plans to achieve sales growth
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Expert at working cross-functionally and leading virtual teams.
  • Desire to drive change in the partner space and evangelize new technologies.
  • Knowledge of the storage industry, particularly beneficial to understand unstructured data environments and use cases.
  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
