You will be responsible for design, development and expansion of data assets that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and reporting. You will also develop, maintain, and support the enterprise data warehouse system, corresponding data marts, and data interfaces for use in reporting, analytics, and various applications. Deep experience building data management Data savviness and a keen understanding of data management life cycle is critical for this role. Crisp communication and the ability to influence decisions is also important. Program Management capabilities will be needed to successfully deliver in this role.
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with various databases.
Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
Extracting data from various sources, such as databases, log files, and APIs.
Transforming data from its raw form into a structured format suitable for analysis.
Loading data into a data warehouse or other data store for use by analysts and data scientists.
Building and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as SQL, Python, etc.
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Ensuring the quality and accuracy of data throughout the pipeline.
Optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues with data pipelines.
Documenting processes and workflows related to data engineering.
Experience with big data tools: Snowflake, Spark, etc.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
Experience with AWS cloud services: Aurora, Redshift.
Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, Kafka etc.
You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
