In this role as an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of skilled, experienced software engineers in building important product  functionality which is closely aligned with a key business partner. 

You will provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers on your team, and others to achieve successful project outcomes. 

The successful candidate will have experience working with global R&D organizations and a track record of delivering product features on schedule and with world class quality. This role requires the ability to lead,  influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including other software teams in North America, QA teams, support teams and Product Managers. 

Experience in modern software development methodologies and tools is a pre-requisite.

What you would bring to the team

• 3-5+ years of technical management experience 
• 5+ years of software development experience, in languages like Java, Python, Go, C++ 
• Experience in building,  managing and motivating high performance software development teams
• Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, delivering products to market on schedule and with high quality 
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong customer focus
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end quality best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Patient, energetic, and calm under pressure

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
